Skiing Weekend 2004

Some shots from my first skiing adventure. It was a lot of fun, but I was pretty graceless on the slopes. I managed to avoid breaking anything important, but if I wanted to give a really accurate picture of the weekend, it would be a shot of me tied into a pretzel on the side of the slope with all my bits pointing in different directions. I'm really impressed with the fantastic variety of positions you can end up in after falling off your skis! Can't wait to try it again...

When we weren't skiing or skating, we chilled at Steen and Dana's cottage in the Swedish woods, eating, drinking and playing games. It was really good to get out of the city for a while and hang out with friends. Thanks for the weekend guys!

Hazy shade of random- the weather was cold and misty, till the sky finally cleared on Sunday afternoon.

I didn't mind the weather- it made the woods look mysterious and kind of medieval

We took a drive out to the "flammefaller," the flaming falls... it's named that way because the ground is rich in iron in southwestern Sweden, and dissolved oxides make the water look reddish.
