Our party was at Klaus and Zorana's place, which
was fortunately big enough to hold everybody. These shots are in
more or less chronological order, and I've tried to name everybody
at least once.
This was my first New Years in Denmark, so I didn't really know
what to expect... something tame I suppose. While the party may
not have been as strange as 2002 (dancing to techno music with a
few thousand party kids in the catacombs under an Austro-Hungarian
fortress overlooking Budapest), it was just what I needed. Copenhagen
went off too—I had no idea the Danes were serious fireworks
collectors. When midnight hit, the sky was blazing from horizon
to horizon with colored flashes—lighting up the undercast
in blue, red and green. Really beautiful.
Thanks for the fun, everybody. This is going to be a big year,
and re-connecting with friends was a good way to start it.
