I've had the flu for the last four days. It's no fun but I guess it's one of those times you might as well make the best of while you can. I haven't had real down time in a hell of a long time, so I've been playing video games for the first time in almost a year, and catching up on reading and movies.
I finally saw "Shaun of the Dead," which was as funny as everyone told me it was, and "Letters from Iwo Jima," which was just wrenching. I hate being non-functional, it just makes me feel pathetic when I can barely leave the sickbed. And I've missed two sushi appointments and my company Christmas party (which was down at the Boeing museum which I've never seen and really wanted to.)
But like I said, you have to make the best of it. And I guess lying in a raging-hot bath with Bob Woodward's new book and a glass of whiskey isn't that bad.
