The only reason I'm still confident about Biden is that unless she's deliberately trying to sound like an idiot in her interviews to lower expectations, there's no way she's going to get through even ten 90-second sound bites without tripping over her tongue. I think Biden can (heh) only because the format discourages inter-candidate communication (at the McCain campaign's unbending insistence). I guess his manner of mis-speaking is clearly mis-speaking, and her manner appears pretty definitely to display misunderstanding or simple, utter lack of understanding...did you see Tina Fey last night? :D the scary part is that she used Palin's words almost verbatim on the economy answer.
