Kruder Dorfmeister - The K&D Sessions If your parties consist of tossing down a fistful of pressed European pharmaceutical-grade MDMA, followed by six hours of nonverbal dancing/groping, this may not work for you (but invite us over anyway). If your soirees involve a little more socialism, then this is the set. The tracks are mellow, yet still beat driven. The session is a sonically coherent 2-CD set, meaning the party can continue with the same musical theme for a good two hours before having to switch modes to a different artist. The remixes- from Lamb to Depeche Mode to Rocker's Hi Fi- melt perfectly into the background of a room filled with conversation, while remaining interesting enough to be "heard." Put it this way- you know the music is a success when everyone in the place is lost in conversation, yet are still nodding their heads to the beat. Must get.
